Privacy Policy

Set Companion is a production-planning service for schedules, call sheets, production records, people, locations, visual references, and related collaboration. This policy explains what the service handles and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

• Account information: your Google or Apple account identifier, verified email address, and display name when you sign in. If you use Apple’s Hide My Email option, we receive its private relay address instead of your personal address.
• Production information: projects, schedules, call sheets, notes, contacts, locations, reports, comments, and settings you create or receive access to.
• Files: images, documents, maps, storyboards, and other files you choose to upload.
• Service information: session, revision, delivery, and diagnostic records needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service.
• Device information: limited local app preferences and cached project data used for reliability and offline recovery.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate you, provide and synchronize the app, support collaboration and sharing, generate documents and requested production assets, maintain Live Activities, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information or use production content for behavioral advertising.

Service providers

Set Companion relies on service providers only where needed to run requested features. These currently include Google and Apple for sign-in, Cloudflare for hosting and storage, Apple for iOS distribution and system features, and OpenAI when you explicitly use an AI-assisted generation feature. Their handling is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Sharing and collaboration

Project owners can invite collaborators or create share links. A share link may expose the production information selected by its creator to anyone who receives it. Avoid including sensitive contact information unless it is necessary and the intended audience is clear.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and production data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can permanently delete your account from Account & access. Deletion removes your account, owned projects, reusable profiles, presets, uploads, and sessions. Records you contributed to another owner's production may remain in that production's history so its operational record remains coherent; contact support if that content includes personal information you need removed.

Security and your choices

We use first-party sessions, access controls, and encrypted HTTPS transport. No system is perfectly secure. You can sign out to end the current browser session, revoke a published share link, remove project collaborators, export project data, or delete your account.

Children

Set Companion is a professional production tool and is not directed to children under 13. Do not create a child's profile or upload their information without the authority and consent required for your production.
